HP has updated its Omen 16 and Omen 17 gaming laptops, as well as announcing the Hp Victus, a new gaming notebook sub-brand. Omen 25i, a new gaming monitor, has also been revealed by the company. HP is also releasing a new add-on called Omen Oasis for its Omen gaming hub, which allows users to live stream when playing a game with others.

HP Victus

For better graphics, HP’s latest Victus gaming notebook comes with a 16-inch touchscreen and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU 6 GB and AMD Radeon RX 5500M. The laptop is equipped with up to 32GB DDR4 RAM and Intel Core i7-11800H series processors / AMD Ryzen 7 5800H Mobile Processors.

The laptop will come with either a single SSD that supports RAID 09 storage options up to Gen4 1TB PCIe storage7 or a dual SSD that supports RAID 09 storage options. Omen 25i

The Omen 25i is a new HP display with an FHD 24.5-inch IPS screen. Although the resolution isn’t particularly impressive, the Omen 25i also supports a 165Hz refresh rate, allowing for higher frame rates than a typical 144Hz monitor. As a result of the resolution being limited to 1080p on this monitor, it’ll be easier to hit those higher frame rates too.

The monitor features 8-bit colour, 400 nits of brightness, and a VESA-certified HDR 400 screen that covers 90% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. The new HP monitor comes with a unique feature called Game Remaster Mode, which applies filters to lower-resolution games to make them look more modern. This will help to improve the gaming experience on modern PCs while playing classic games. NVIDIA G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro are also supported by the Omen 25i. One HDMI 2.0 port, one DisplayPort 1.4 port, and two USB-A 3.1 Gen 1 ports are among the IO choices.

The Omen Gaming Hub will also get an add-on called Omen Oasis, which will allow users to stream gameplay or share their screen with up to 16 people. Omen Oasis streams are said to be invite-only, which means that if you only want to stream for your friends and don’t want to put a stream up on a public forum like YouTube, you can.
