Late last week, Casio released the G-Shock GBA900, the company’s newest fitness-focused watch in the G-Shock Move series. Casio’s latest G-Shock watch is also one of the company’s most affordable fitness-tracking bands. The Casio GBA900 is a successor to the Casio GBD100 fitness monitoring watch from G-Shock. It has a combination of analogue and digital display.
The accelerometer and Bluetooth connectivity of the GBA900 enable it to monitor running speed, distance, rate, and calorie consumption. The fitness watch is already available in the United States, but there is no word about when it will be available in India.
Casio G-Shock GBA900 Price & Availability
Casio’s G-Shock GBA900 retails for $130. (roughly Rs. 9,500). It was released on May 13 and has been available for pre-order since then. From May 19, the fitness watch will be available for purchase. Select G-Shock stores, the G-Shock SOHO store in New York City, and the G-Shock website sell the G-Shock GBA900 fitness watch. It’s available in two colours: black and white.

Casio’s new fitness watch is the newest and one of the most affordable models in the Move series of fitness watches. As previously stated, it has an accelerometer and is Bluetooth compatible, allowing it to monitor the user’s running speed, distance, rate, and calorie intake. Using Bluetooth networking and Casio’s G-Shock Move software, the GBA900 will automatically record regular movements and other parameters.
The G-Shock GBA900 has a 24-month battery life, a 1/100 sec stopwatch with Lap Memory 45, Countdown/ Interval Timer, 5 Daily Alarms, Full Auto Calendar, and World Time with 31 time zones.
In terms of design, it has a round dial with both an analogue and an LCD display. The analogue display only shows the time, while the LCD display shows other important data. The G-Shock GBA900 has soft urethane wristbands with several holes for added comfort, and the lugs have ventilation ports.
